Marriage appears wonderfully endearing to the single individual who has never ever married, and maybe to the divorced individual who hankers for something to arrest their longing for companionship or sexual release, but marriage for practically all of us is quite a difficult work at occasions. (And I can say this even as a representative of my wife!). We carry so a lot of ourselves into our marriages – which is each a good and a bad issue.
We deliver in expectations of becoming ‘met’ by our partners: that they will satisfy us sexually, not commit too significantly money, not seek to manage us, that they will want to devote time with us. We also carry in expectations of what our partners ought to carry to us: their virtues of diligence and moderation and sanctity and kindness – to name just 4. We are disappointed when they don’t measure up to our previously unconscious expectations – that have now turn into aware due to our encroaching annoyance.
How To Get Your Ex Girlfriend Back
It probably appears that you two aren’t even compatible, so why stay married?. I want to challenge you with this idea: Your happiness in marriage is not based on weather or not you are compatible with your spouse. Therefore, it should not be a deciding factor as to weather your marriage will last or not.
Working and providing the income may be a way to show your partner that you love them. Some people feel loved when others do things for them, some when they hear it, others when they are touched and yet others when they see it written. Your partner may need to hear it from you.
Unresolved conflict issues in a marriage are the highest, single most damaging cause of divorce. And the truth is that there is no conflict resolution without character. When all is said and done, the person you met is not the person he/she becomes through the years. Very often crisis in a marriage simply displays the character of the people who are married.
One thing almost no one knows about saving a marriage, is that conflict is good for your relationship. The one lesson I wish I had learned years ago is that conflict is an opportunity. It is one of the few ways to resolve differences, change people’s hearts rather than their circumstances, and bring two people closer together than they were before.
It is quite possible that one spouse may be completely uncooperative at that time and which is precisely when one has to take full charge of the situation and ensure that things are completely in control.
The shock shouldn’t be that you experience any conflict, but rather that you actually get along!. Why Couples Argue?, The primary reason couples have disagreements and/or arguments is that living together forces people to face their differences – differences that can become sources of irritation – if not outright contention – over time.
Difficulties In Love Marriage
Conflict will be present in even the best marriages. A couple that says they never have conflict is either in denial or they just aren’t really living. Unfortunately when couples think of conflict they will often attach negative connotations to it. A better way to understand conflict in marriage would be to look at it introspectively.
You get the picture. But the third example is that of PEACE MAKING. This is the only response that will resolve an issue because it requires both parties to acknowledge that something is wrong. Both people will have an opportunity to express their side of the story and then each person will be able to look at the situation from another perspective.
Make a pact with your spouse. In overcoming marriage problems it is important to promise each other that you will both try your best to fix the problem in your marriage. Do whatever it takes to save the marriage and bring the relationship back on the right track.
That’s when character gets revealed. That’s when the personality fades away and you meet a different person for the first time. Sometimes that sweet spouse you met turns to drugs or some bizarre behavior and you say to yourself, “How could that have happened?”.
Many people would rather choose to be with “someone” else (back to “personality love”) than to remain with their spouse and face the true character of their spouses and their own! (Did you get that?). Marriage requires “character love.”
Seek out a program where you and your spouse have the opportunity to learn and practice concrete skills, under supervision, you can continue to use regularly at home. Both secular and faith-based programs are available. While people sometimes express concern about sharing their problems in the presence of other couples, workshops have their own set of benefits.
When you factor in, new experiences, change of perceptions, hormonal changes and repeated emotional injuries through the years you begin to realize that character is all you have to keep a marriage sound and healthy.

Commitment is the thing that will keep your marriage together. It is a choice that you make with your mind, not a feeling that you follow with your heart. Threatening to leave or get a divorce will do nothing more than erode the foundation of commitment. It means you can change the rules at any time, and that breeds insecurity, and fear, which in turn, will only wreak havoc on your marriage.
And life of my partner wasn’t any better. We were at each other’s hair all the time and this started to affect not just my family life, but also my professional life. I found it very hard to concentrate because my mind constantly busy worrying about my marriage.
Oftentimes, arguments can come from small issues. But before you shrug it off as only “small,” marriage therapists and studies have proven time and again that it’s these minor issues that can be blown out of proportion and cause major fights among married couples that, in worse cases, could end up in divorce.
If your marriage is at this point, it is time to make some changes. Here is a question, Why is it that we act the worst towards those we love the most?. It is a problem most of us have, and yet it is so counter-intuitive. We should be the kindest to those we love. Well in a marriage relationship, there are 3 rules you should be following on a daily basis.

Learn to take responsibility and apologize when you have done something that has upset your partner even if you cannot understand why, as this assures them that you care about their feelings.
